Liberum acts as Nomad and Joint Bookrunner on £31m fundraising and £9m secondary trade for Shanta Gold
The net proceeds of the placing will be utilised to advance Shanta’s high grade West Kenya Project with the aim of confirming the viability of a mine and targeting a construction decision within three years.
The fundraise delivered significant and high-quality demand, from both new and existing institutional investors, which enabled a secondary trade to remove a legacy shareholder from the register to be executed at the same time.
Liberum has been Nomad and Joint Broker to the Company since September 2020. Tamesis Partners LLP and Cormark Securities Inc. acted as Joint Bookrunners alongside Liberum.
